Funding for these programs is provided in part through the Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities Grant from NJ Department of Community Affairs . The purpose of this grant is to provide funding for individualized, inclusive recreational programming for individuals with disabilities.

Meadowedge Social Club “A Place Where Everyone Fits In”

is located at 550 E Bay Ave. Barnegat. Meadowedge is an inclusive Social Club offering encouragement, experiences and exposure to new opportunities for people age 14 & up with special needs. A place for members and families to build friendships, learn ans interact with each other. It offers games, trips and fun 4 nights/week Monday-Thursday. DISCOVERY BASKETBALL

This free program for individuals with special needs was offered Friday’s Sept. 16- Nov. 4 the Collins Elementary School Barnegat Blvd. The program is open to individuals ages 5-18. Care givers MUST stay with their children during the program. Please print out registration form and bring to the recreation center prior to the first session. If you can not come in, please fax to 698-1302 or email barnegatspecialneedsrec@gmail.com Registration forms are also accepted in person each Friday night.

SOUTHERN YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER – NEW INSPIRATION CHEER TEAM FORMING

Attention parents of special needs children!!! Southern Youth Football and Cheer is forming a new inspiration cheer team for girls and boys ages 5-21! This team will learn the basics of cheerleading in a fun and compassionate environment from coaches with years of experience. And they will have the opportunity to perform all they learn at the Jersey Shore Cheer Championships. For more information or to get your child involved, please email belford96@live.com

BARNEGAT LITTLE LEAGUE CHALLENGER BASEBALL -AGES 5-21

Games will be played Friday nights (SPRING of 2020) at the Barnegat Little League Sports Complex 1001 Barnegat Blvd. N All players must register online at www.barnegatlittleleague.com under online forms
