Registration window opens to participant ends on December 12th All entries must submit a photo of their home – follow the instructions on the flyer below and enter via the QR code
Contest opens December 13 – December 21 A panel of judges will select the winners. Winners will be announced by December 22 All entries will also be posted on Facebook @barnegatrecreation. Like our page to stay informed on our programs.

HOOFY’s Fall Festival 2026 – November 7 (rain date November 8)
HOOFY Fall Festival 11am-7pm in the field across from the firehouse 14 Birdsall St. The event features: Beer Tasting, Food Trucks, Children’s Inflatables, Hoffman Sweatshirts and Commemorative Beer Mug Sales, Live Music, Craft Vendors, Fire Pits and more. Admission is $10 for Adults, Children are free. The event supports the Alex Hoffman Memorial Scholarship Fund for Barnegat Students.

6th Annual Farm & Crafter’s Holiday Pop-up Market 2025 – December 6 Tree Lighting 5pm
Market hours will be 11-5pm at the Barnegat Recreation Center 900 W Bay Ave Barnegat, NJ 08005 Market will feature farm products, Cream Ridge Winery, Holiday crafter’s and more. Carolers will sing in Gazebo Park throughout the event & immediately following the tree lighting.
