The Barnegat branch of the Ocean County Library System is located at the intersection of West Bay Ave. and Burr St. The hours of operation are: Mon. Thur. Fri. Sat. 10am-5pm |

The library contains thousands of books, scores of reference volumes, audio cassettes, videos and other materials for public use. All books are searchable by subject, title, or author in the library system's computerized database that is tied into the county-wide system.You can even reserve a book and have it sent to the Barnegat branch when it becomes available. The friendly staff at the library are always glad to help you. |
There are PCs at the library for word processing use and access to the Internet. The PCs are equipped with printers as well. There is a CD-ROM workstation for accessing files on CD-ROM format. |

The children's area has many books just for kids. There are frequent "Story Times" as well. |
